When a child misunderstands something from our adult world, we chuckle. In general, we find their ignorance endearing and refreshing. Their innocence protects them from the influence of the adult world, at least for a little while.
We all have different thoughts and experiences when it comes to love. I have my own definition that I will share later, but for the purposes of this journey, I decided to go to “the source of all knowledge.”
The point is to be there and to be a light. To be where students already are and let them know that they are always welcome to come sit on our couch. How else would they know us if we didn't go to them.
