Agape Clinic is a pro bono health clinic in East Dallas serving anyone who has medical needs, regardless of insurance, identification, or ability to pay. The clinic is in need of regular assistance with administrative needs, as well as regular support in the pharmacy to clean out expired medications and check inventory.

Known as the Altar Guild, this group prepares the elements for Communion for Cornerstone services and sets the table with the elements. Communion is served monthly at the 9:30 and 11 am services. Team members arrive at 7:30 am and serve for approximately an hour.

Known as the Altar Guild, this group prepares the elements for Communion for the Sanctuary services, sets the table with the elements, cleans up the table after the worship service, and resets the table for the next worship service. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month. Serve with a team for 8:30, 9:30, and/or 11 am worship services. Team members arrive one hour prior to a worship service and clean up a few minutes after the service.

Wilkinson Center provides access to healthy food for many families in the Dallas area who are struggling to put food on the table. They are in need of volunteers to help assist in their food pantry, help clients check in, shop alongside clients, help bag groceries, pack food boxes, and restock shelves. Volunteer shifts are three hours on Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 11:30 am or 11 am to 1:30 pm.

Volunteers need to be 16 or over, or 12 or over with a parent present. Background check is required for everyone over 18.

Support our neighbors by volunteering at Austin Street Center! There is something for all ages and ability levels. You can help at the Welcome Center, support in the donations area, serve meals, help in the garden, and more! There is always a way to serve the needs of Austin Street Center clients. There are opportunities for families, individuals, small groups, and larger groups.

Support adults with learning new skills and making new friends! Classes are typically held on Mondays & Thursdays from 1 to 4 pm. The activities range from yoga, martial arts, and adaptive tennis, to jewelry-making, pottery, bible journaling, and many more!

You must attend a 2.5-hour training to volunteer in Belong programs. No prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.

Join us at Explorers where teens and adults ages 16 and up share a meal, listen to a devotional, and break out into small groups. You will be provided with a curriculum and have other volunteers in your group to assist you. Explorers is once a month on a Tuesday from 6 to 7:30pm.

Help us serve slushies, Chick-fil-A, pizza, and more on a Wednesday night! In this role, you will help us make a fun cafe environment for our middle school and high school students. By serving, you're helping us create a place where students can have fun, engage in their faith, and grab dinner after school! Food handling license and prior experience helpful but not required—training will be provided.

This volunteer will operate a camera that provides the images for our online broadcast, as well as the screens and monitors in our venues' lobbies. The role is critical in helping communicate the message and the vision of the Sanctuary, Wesley Hall, and Cox Chapel worship services. The ability to follow directions is a must. No experience is required; training will be provided. Depending on the venue, you must attend the Sunday morning run-through (we will provide more details after sign-up). You will then work the services in your venue until services are complete. Time commitment options are as follows. One camera operator is needed per service, except for our Cornerstone venue which requires four camera operators per service.

Sanctuary: One or all of the following times: Sunday 7:30-9:30 am, Sunday 9:15-10:45 am, Sunday 10:30 am-12:15 pm
Cornerstone: One or both of the following times. Sunday 8-10:45 am, Sunday 10:30 am-12:15 pm

Carpenters for Christ partners with Habitat for Humanity in Dallas to build affordable homes for families. Join us during one of our builds (spring and fall) to help build a house alongside our incredible team. These days are fun and rewarding as we help Dallas residents realize the dream of having their very own home. Build days are Saturdays (7:45 am-3 pm) and periodic Wednesdays. Any volunteers 16 or 17 years old have to be accompanied by a parent.

Work alongside the Chance's Cafe crew to serve coffee for all of HPUMC's Sunday services. Whether helping to brew coffee, work point of sale, or manage inventory, we would love to have you.

Join our adult choir, known as Chancel Choir, and lend your time and talents to serve our congregation through the gift of music. Along with weekly performing in all three Sanctuary services on Sundays, Chancel Choir also rehearses on Wednesday nights. Chancel Choir runs throughout the school year, with a lighter schedule in the summer months. Prior singing experience preferred.
