2023 Middle School Mission Trip

Registration is OPEN for our annual Middle School Mission Trip! For the week of June 4 to 8, 2023, we will be working with the organization Mission Waco in Waco, TX. During the trip, our students will get hands-on experience by working in teams throughout the community of Waco to learn how they can help in reversing the effects of poverty.

Amp It Up Music Camp

Get ready to make some noise at Amp It Up Music Camp! If you love to sing, dance, and play instruments, you don’t want to miss this incredible camp experience! You are invited to join us June 5-8 for our Amp It Up Music Camp. Our goal is to tune up your musical skills and deepen your faith in Christ. You will be encouraged and inspired to maximize your gifts through the joy of song. Amp It Up takes place from Noon to 3 pm each day during VBS. We can’t wait to make music with you!

Vacation Bible School 2023: "Ready, Set, Move!"

We can’t wait for your child to join us for Vacation Bible School at HPUMC! On June 5-8, your kids will spend four fun days learning how they can follow Jesus here, there, and everywhere! The theme, “Ready, Set, Move!” will show them how they can DO what Jesus says, BELIEVE who Jesus is, LOVE like Jesus loves, and GO where Jesus leads!

Rejebian Series Presents Sam W. Haynes: Unsettled Land

Rejebian Series Presents Rebecca Blackwood: A Girl Named Carrie

For the Rejebian series, Rebecca Blackwood reviews “A Girl Named Carrie” by Jerrie Marcus Smith. This is the largely untold story of Carrie Marcus Neiman, who, with her brother, Herbert Marcus Sr., and her husband, A.L. Neiman, founded Neiman Marcus in 1907. Self-taught and single after her divorce from Neiman, she became a prominent fashion buyer and an arbiter of fashion and culture in Dallas.
