This position serves with our infants and toddlers to help create a safe and nurturing environment. We ask that you commit to 12 Sundays throughout the year. We have a team of dedicated caregivers that you will serve alongside who will take care of all the hard stuff. Opportunities are available at both the 9:30 or 11 am service times. This is a position that could be for children ages 0-2. Anyone working with children is required to complete a background check and MinistrySafe training every two years.

The online host will monitor and engage with our online congregants during Sunday worship livestreams. Training will be provided. This is a good connection opportunity for our congregants who are not local to the DFW metroplex. One host is needed for each of the following services:

Cornerstone 9:30 am, 11 am
Sanctuary 9:30 am, 11 am

Would you and your Sunday School class or Small Group like to organize a supplies drive for one of our incredible partners? Our partners are regularly in need of supplies to continue their impactful work. Help them make a difference in the lives of our neighbors!

The photography volunteer will work with the Creative and Communications team to help capture the life of the church by taking photos during events, Outreach projects, and worship. These pictures will help spread the church's message through our social media channels, website, and print pieces, helping draw in new members and building community among members.

Background check required.

Join a group of knitters, crocheters, and quilters who are willing to create baby and lap blankets, scarves, and crosses to show that God and HPUMC cares for people. Knit or quilt at home or join this community every second and fourth Tuesdays of the month, 1-3 pm in room 218. There is no minimum age or knitting skill required, just a love for learning and creating.

Serve as a prayer intercessor for those who submit prayer requests to the church. Individual training is provided, and we ask that you commit to an hour a week of praying over the requests. Praying can be done in the HPUMC Prayer Tower or the space of your choice.

This position serves in either our preschool classrooms. We invite you to serve 12 Sundays throughout the year to help develop relationships and help our kids feel safe, known, and loved. You will provide a support role in the classroom and may be asked to help support delivery of curriculum. Opportunities are available at both the 9:30 or 11 am service times. We would love to have you serve in this role once or twice a month. Anyone working with children is required to complete a background check and MinistrySafe training every two years.

Project Transformation provides reading and math support for low-income elementary-aged students who are falling behind in school through after-school and summer programming. Sign up to be a tutor for some incredible kids who just need a little extra support on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6 pm.

Background check and MinistrySafe are required.

Every week, our college students gather together for worship and Bible study at Wesley House. During this time, we also offer students a free meal. We would love to partner with you to ensure these students get an amazing meal each week! Providing a meal can mean donating monetarily, cooking a meal, or arranging catering. Each week, we prepare to feed 30 people.

Community Partners of Dallas needs help in their incredible Rainbow Room, where CPS caseworkers go to get brand new items to meet the basic needs of Dallas children who are in their first hours of being removed from their families. Volunteer to help organize, restock, and put together orders for these amazing children and caseworkers. Must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer.

This is a serving opportunity for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in Sanctuary worship. An acolyte is carries the cross or the bell banners into the Sanctuary at the beginning of the 9:30 and 11 am services from September through May. Training will be provided.
