SERVE WITH HPUMC

"Every believer has received grace gifts, so use them to serve one another as faithful stewards of the many-colored tapestry of God's grace." -1 Peter 4:10

We envision the church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, serving across all ministries, including in worship services, all age levels, adults, care, and disability ministries. We believe the Holy Spirit grants us spiritual gifts, according to God's design, to use for the good of others, meeting their needs and where they are. We encourage engagement that is relational and actively interpersonal, as we serve as individuals and in groups to grow in spiritual community with each other and with those whom we serve.

Churchwide Serving Day

Saturday, March 23

Each year, we challenge our congregation to come together and serve our neighbors around Dallas on the Saturday before Palm Sunday. It is incredible to witness the impact of hundreds of volunteers from our church community spread throughout the city to serve local partners who fight poverty daily. Serving options are available for every age and life stage—individuals, groups, and families. Join us and bring a friend for an experience that is both fun and meaningful!
