Rejebian Series Presents Nancy Ashley: The Family Life of Winston and Clementine Churchill and Their Five Children

Nancy Ashley will talk about the children of Winston and Clementine Churchill from the books, “The Churchill Sisters, The Extraordinary Lives of Winston and Clementine’s Daughters” by Rachel Tretheway, and “Churchill & Son” by Josh Ireland.

Each Rejebian event is free of charge, and no registration is required.

About Nancy Ashley

Nancy Ashley earned her B.A. degree at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS, where she was elected “Miss MSCW” (Mississippi State College for Women) by the student body her senior year. She earned her Master of Arts in Teaching at Vanderbilt University and taught ninth-grade English until her two daughters were born. In 1980, Nancy moved to Dallas, Texas, where her husband Bill, now retired, was an international pilot for American Airlines.

For 32 years, Nancy served as a popular leader of Bible studies, church organizations, and world mission trips. She is an active member of the Dallas Woman’s Club, the Marianne Scruggs Garden Club, the Shakespeare Study Club, the Mentor Club, and two dance clubs: The Calliope Club and Tres Jolie. She is a former Regent of the Highland Park Chapter of DAR (2011-2015) and a member of Colonial Dames XVII (17th Century).

She and Bill are the parents of two married daughters and have five grandchildren who live in Austin, Texas. For fun, she plays bridge, enjoys water aerobics, travels, and spoils her grandchildren.
