Youth Senior Recognition

It's time for one of our most sacred Sundays as we come together as a church and commission the 2024 high school graduating class. Join us for this special Sunday as we watch them lead worship, pray over them as a church body, and witness the mission in our baptismal vows.

Rite of Confirmation

Confirmation is the time when students claim faith for themselves and become full members of our church. As a ceremony, the Rite of Confirmation service provides the setting and opportunity for the child to acknowledge and profess the faith into which he or she has been baptized through a special worship service. This year, we are offering three service options for families to choose from.

Picking up the Pieces: Coping With the Loneliness of Divorce

After divorce, feelings of loneliness can often occur due to the resulting shift in family dynamics. If you are grappling with these feelings, we want to invite you to hear from Michelle Spurgeon, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) this spring.

Mother's Day at HPUMC

This Mother’s Day, we want to honor the mothers and motherly figures in our lives. We invite you and your family to join us on Mockingbird Lawn before or after church on Sunday, May 12, to make some Mother’s Day memories with snacks and a photo booth! For those who attend programming or just feel more at home at the Tolleson Family Activity Center, there will be a fun photo opportunity for your family, too.

Moms' Meetup

Come join other moms with kids under two for fellowship and fun! Drinks and a light breakfast will be provided for both moms and toddlers.
