Picking up the Pieces: Coping With the Loneliness of Divorce

  • Thursday, May 2
  • 6:30pm – 8:00pm
  • Room 120

After divorce, feelings of loneliness can often occur due to the resulting shift in family dynamics. Holidays and events, such as summer vacations, are no longer what they once were. Re-imagining future hopes and dreams can feel daunting as a newly single person. If you are grappling with these feelings, we want to invite you to hear from Michelle Spurgeon, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) this spring. Michelle—who works with adults dealing with the effects of abuse and trauma, anxiety, and life transitions—will share helpful ways to cope with the loneliness of divorce.
