Rev. Elizabeth Moseley, Associate Minister of Uptown Church, has received a new pastoral appointment with the Methodist Church to serve at First United Methodist Church in Dallas after 18 years of working at HPUMC and Uptown Church. Elizabeth has made an incredible impact in those 18 years. Her ability to connect and relate to congregants is seen through her foundation of Small Groups at HPUMC, and her powerful sermons live on in the lives of those who came to listen to her on Sundays. But don’t take our word for it—read all about her lasting impact according to a few of those who felt it while working with her and Elizabeth herself.

Elizabeth, A Godly Friend: Karla Nivens

Now Director of Justice Ministry, Karla Nivens was on Cornerstone’s worship team when Rev. Elizabeth Moseley joined the HPUMC staff. No matter where you worked at HPUMC, Elizabeth would find a way to connect with you. Robert Smith, Print Shop Manager, recalls meeting Elizabeth for the first time and how she impacted his life and faith in more than a decade at HPUMC’s main campus.

Elizabeth, A Partner in Ministry: Rev. Joy Gonzalez

As a fellow woman in ministry and one of the first people that Rev. Joy Gonzalez, Campus Pastor of Uptown Church, met upon moving back to Dallas, Elizabeth and Joy were able to connect at HPUMC and share thoughts and ideas for a future HPUMC campus. Uptown Church soon came to fruition, and Elizabeth’s gifts in ministry blessed the new campus.
