Recovery Ministry

We believe the church should be a safe space for individuals and families who are seeking transformation and recovery.

Support Groups

HPUMC offers support groups and classes addressing an array of topics. Examples include the Cancer Support Group, Forever Moms: Child Loss Grief Support Group, Invisible Sisterhood (infertility group), and our various Recovery Groups.

Mental Health

At Highland Park United Methodist Church, we believe that part of our mission to help people become deeply devoted followers of Jesus Christ includes faithful ministry to the whole person: physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental.

Restoration Ministry

Restoration Ministry promotes prevention, intervention, and recovery in the areas of domestic abuse and sexual assault.

Stephen Ministry

Our congregation's Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to individuals in our community who are experiencing difficulty in their lives.

Journey

Journey is a respite program offering a weekly meeting full of faith-based care to those with early-stage Alzheimer’s or dementia and their caregivers.
