Cullum Clark, director of the George W. Bush Institute-SMU Economic Growth Initiative and adjunct professor of economics at SMU, will reflect on all he learned from his grandfather, Charles G. Cullum, a Dallas business and civic leader, who taught the same Men’s Sunday School class at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church for 55 years.

Tower Arts Midday Concert Series: Steven Brennfleck

The Tower Arts Midday Concert series concludes with acclaimed American tenor Steven Brennfleck. He will perform a program of opera arias and art songs. The Old Testament

The Old Testament is approximately 85% of our Protestant Bible. The New Testament and our faith as Christians is based on the Old Testament, its narrative, events, and characters. In this series, we will survey the grand scope and structure of the Old Testament.

What is the Holy Spirit?

Beginning in the first pages of Scripture, we’ll trace the work of God’s Spirit through the Biblical story to unlock the mystery of the Holy Spirit and its power to transform our lives.

Churchwide Serving Day

Each year, we challenge our congregation to come together and serve our neighbors around Dallas on the Saturday before Palm Sunday. It is incredible to witness the impact of hundreds of volunteers from our church community spread throughout the city to serve local partners who fight poverty daily.
