You can't teach an old dog new tricks!
Says who? Of course, you can. As we age, or even as we get entrenched into our "normal" way of living, the problem is not our capacity to learn new tricks. The problem is our desire. Sometimes we'd just rather do things the "way we've always done them."
Jesus warned us about this 2,000 years ago.
In fact, he reminded his disciples that God loves to use new things, new ways, and new adventures to affirm old truths and that moving forward is usually better than "getting back to normal."
