What Are You Thinking? Basic Christian Theology
-
Monday, February 12 -
6:30pm – 7:30pm -
Room 218
In this 4 week class, we will journey through the major sources and methods that Christians have used to think theologically. The class title is meant both to catch your attention and to empower you to take ownership of your own theological reflection. Our primary goal will be to move from an embedded theology (the faith we grew up with) to a deliberated theology (the faith we have claimed for ourselves). We will take a look at the roles that Scripture, tradition, reason, and experience play in establishing Christian doctrine and cover the key points of the 9 traditional categories of theological studies.
Cost: No charge.
