This year our local UMW unit will sponsor a book club where we will be reading books that are on the United Women in Faith Reading Program list. Dana Harkey will lead our discussions initially, although others who are interested may decide that they would like to lead a discussion in the future. This book club is open to all women in our church.
We will meet from Noon to 1:30 pm in Room 244/245 at the HPUMC Mockingbird campus. Bring your own lunch and we will plan to discuss the following books:
Tuesday, May 21 — "The Four Winds" by Kristen Hannah
Tuesday, August 27 — "Braiding Sweetgrass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer
Tuesday, October 22 — "30 Days with E. Stanley Jones" by John E. Harnish
