Highland Park United Methodist Church reaches outside the walls of the church to provide help and hope through Outreach Ministries of the church and through strategic partnerships.

Each year the Executive Leadership of HPUMC, with the approval of the Finance Committee and the Church Council, allocates funds from special offerings (Easter, Christmas, and Communion) along with the operating budget to be distributed by the Outreach Committee. The committee makes the funding decisions after reviewing applications and financials, conducting site visits, and having lengthy discussions over several months. Selected partners have not only been well-vetted by the committee, but have been determined to fit within the mission of HPUMC.
