Led by Walt Marcum, this class will explore how we got to this point, the underlying issues, where we are now, and what the likely outcome will be. We will also explore what our United Methodist view is and why we affirm what we do. This class is held once weekly on Tuesdays July 12, 19 & 26 and Aug. 2.

Understanding Our Wesleyan Methodist Heritage

Join Rev. Walt Marcum and Richard Stanford for a six-week class designed to help you better understand who we are and what it means to be Methodist. It's a perfect follow-up to the class "Schism: Understanding What’s Happening to the UMC". This class is held on Tuesdays, Aug. 9 through Sept. 20 (no class on Sept. 6) with an optional $10 lunch at 11:30 am (lunch registration link will be sent to those who register). We also offer a hybrid option of in person or remote online attendance (Zoom link will be sent prior to the start of class).
