What's a Small Group?
Spiritual growth doesn't only happen in corporate worship, but often happens in less formal gatherings like small groups. A small group typically meets on a weekly basis for fellowship, study, prayer, and reflection. Small groups of six to 10 people allow us to experience the purpose and power of Christ in our lives, dig deeper in our faith, and grow closer to God.
Two Ways To Get Started:
Start with a new group: Twice a year, HPUMC has a launch event. At the one hour launch, you'll learn what it means to be in a small group and meet others looking for the same type of group. Register today for the next launch on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at 7pm, in the fellowship area of Wesley Hall.
Start your own small group: Do you have friends that are ready to dive deep into Christian study and have meaningful accountability? It only takes three – eight people that share the goal of becoming a more deeply devoted follower of Jesus Christ to start a small group. Let the GroupLife team help you get started! We’ll meet with the group, cast the vision and provide the kickoff curriculum. Contact Jenny Misslin, GroupLife Coordinator, to get started.
