March 22, 2021

Because he lives, we’re celebrating Easter with a variety of worship services — in person and online. To make sure you have the best experience possible on this exciting day, look below to find helpful tips for navigating Easter Sunday and discovering the right worship experience for you.

Easter Service at SMU’s Ford Stadium

Sunday, April 4 | 10:00 am | In Person & Online

Get ready for an Easter experience like nothing else because we’re joining together as a church for a single service at SMU’s Ford Stadium. This outdoor service will feature a more traditional feel in a unique setting that’s perfect whether you’re attending with your family, friends, or by yourself.

Gates open an hour before the service, so be sure to arrive early — seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. You may enter through Gates 3, 4, 5, or 6, and anyone is welcome to sit on the field-level seats! If you want to sit on the field, enter through Gate 3 or 6 and follow the signs. Limited space is available on the field level.

For those attending this service, we encourage you to park in the Binkley and Moody garages. Guests with limited mobility may park in the Meadows Garage or the limited spaces available in Lot D (located on Ownby Drive) and enter at Gate 2.

Finally, here’s how we’re keeping you safe: Sanitization stations will be located throughout the venue, we will follow social distancing guidelines of six feet, face coverings are required (for ages 2+), and a security screening is required for all guests via a metal detector or hand wand and bag check.

Click here for parking locations, entry details, and prohibited items. And remember that registration is required.

Easter Online

Sunday, April 4 | 11:00 am and 1:00 pm
Not only are all of our in-person Easter worship services streamed live on hpumconline.org, but we also offer an online-only service broadcasted at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. If you’re not quite ready for in-person worship just yet or will be out of town, you can still enjoy a classic Easter worship experience from the comfort of your own home. Watch online at hpumconline.org or stream on YouTube, Facebook, Roku, or Apple TV.

Easter Offering

Will you partner with us to fight poverty in our community and around the world? HPUMC directs 100% of the offering collected at Easter right back into the community. This year we have even bigger aspirations for our gifts because our goal is to not just provide temporary relief, but help break the cycle of poverty. Bring your gift on Easter Sunday or give online at hpumc.org/offering.

We can’t wait to worship with you! If you have any other questions regarding Easter or Holy Week, visit hpumc.org/easter.
