Christmas Eve is such a special day when we get to proclaim the long-awaited Messiah has come! We are so excited to welcome you to HPUMC on this special day. Here are some important things to know to make your experience meaningful:

ARRIVE EARLY

We suggest arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the service. That way, you can more easily find a seat and have extra time to get settled.

PARKING AREAS

  • HPUMC parking lot on the north side of the building (reserved for the elderly and handicapped)

  • The Meadows Parking Center

  • The Hillcrest Parking Center

  • Take the HPUMC Shuttle from Moody and Binkley Parking Centers
    • If you park at the Moody Parking Center, we’ll have a “Christmas Trolley” available to pick you up and drop you off at the church. Trolley riders will also receive a candy cane!

LOOKING TO AVOID THE CROWDS?

We recommend one of our three Travelers’ Services, the Outdoor Family Service, or our Candlelight and Communion Services at 8, 9:30, and 11 pm.

HAVE SMALL CHILDREN?

Childcare will not be available for Christmas Eve. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend any of our worship venues. Activity packets are provided in each venue.

NEED HELP?

We will have extra staff and greeters to welcome and help you find your way! Just ask anyone with an HPUMC name tag for assistance.

WORSHIPING ONLINE?

All of our Sanctuary and Cornerstone worship services will stream live on hpumconline.org, Roku, the HPUMC app, and more. Click here to see how to watch online.

MASKS

Please also keep in mind that the Sanctuary balcony is reserved exclusively for those who would prefer to wear masks.

CHRISTMAS OFFERING

Your support allows us to transform lives! We direct 100% of the gifts received for our Christmas Offering to our local partners and those in our community with the greatest needs. Give today.

FRIENDLY REMINDER

Lastly, don’t forget that HPUMC will have a single worship service on Sunday, December 26 at 9:30 am in the Sanctuary. We’ll return to our regular Sunday worship schedule on January 2.
