During the Christmas season, the spirit of giving is in the air. We head to the mall to purchase gifts to put under the tree for family and friends, but there are also opportunities to give to others that don’t cost anything, right here at HPUMC and at our missional church, The Table. Take a look at these Christmas serving opportunities, and share the love this season.
CHRISTMAS SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
Be a Christmas Greeter
Join our Hospitality Team for Christmas Eve as we warmly welcome guests across 14 different services throughout Christmas Week. Visit the sign-up link and select the day(s) and time(s) you would like to volunteer, and our Hospitality Team will be in touch with specific details. Thank you for serving with us!
Serve at The Table
Serve and have lunch with our neighbors at The Table on Sundays from 10 am to 12:45 pm on The Table's campus at the Austin Street Center Chapel, located at 1718 Jeffries St., Dallas, TX 75226. Please come and be present for the worship service and join in fellowship afterward around the lunch table. This is a ministry of presence, so engage with the neighbors there and let them tell you their stories. Seven people are needed for each Sunday. Learn more and sign up here.
Serve on our Christmas Production Team
With 14 Christmas services offered throughout Christmas Eve and Travelers' Services, we could use camera assistance to help broadcast the events. Worship and serve with this opportunity! No experience is necessary. One volunteer is needed in each of the eight services in the Sanctuary, and four are needed for each of the three Cornerstone services. Interested in serving?
