CHRIST’S FOUNDRY

Mini VBS | Wednesdays in July | 6:30–8:30 pm

Instead of traditional VBS, Christ’s Foundry will hold miniature VBS sessions on Wednesday evenings in July. Volunteers will help with VBS activities or can provide a meal one Wednesday (for 40 people total). Contact Caroline Hazlett to volunteer.

Back-to-School Bash | July 31

Before kids go back to school, Christ’s Foundry is organizing an afternoon of fun and games for families. Volunteers will run carnival-style game booths and hand out prizes. Sign up here.

Summer Explorers Family Fun Days | Fridays, July 2–30

Fridays during camp, families of campers will be learning with a partner agency, such as the Dallas Zoo or Perot Museum. Volunteers will assist with a related creative project or will provide and distribute easy grab-and-go lunches. VNA/MEALS ON WHEELS

Deliver Meals to Homebound Seniors

Now that in-person meal delivery is returning, there’s a need for additional volunteers to get healthy meals to senior neighbors in need. For information and a link to register, please send an email to Caroline Hazlett.

HEART HOUSE

Small Group Project | Monday, June 14 or Tuesday, June 15

Help with a deep clean of sites prior to the opening of the Summer Reading Program. Consider volunteering with your family or Small Group! It usually takes a group of four to six people about an hour to clean.

Summer Reading Program | Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays | June 28–August 4 | 1:15–2 pm

Come each day or once a week! Either way, you'll read with children and help them expand their vocabulary. Training required.

Daily Helpers | June 21–August 4 | Mondays–Thursdays | 12:30–4:30 pm

Provide an extra set of hands in the classroom, spend time with the class, and help with reading.
