A member of the Carpenters for Christ Committee for over 15 years, Jane served as the volunteer chair, supply officer, meals coordinator, van driver, and outstanding hostess to thousands of volunteers. In total, she contributed an estimated 15,000 hours of work to the Carpenters Ministry, serving as a central figure in helping build more than 80 homes to shelter families in need.

Jane was not only the primary volunteer recruiter for over 5,000 workers on Carpenters’ homes, but she also arranged for more than 5,400 meals for workers building the homes and the families, often preparing or purchasing the meals herself.

In addition to the quantity of her work was the quality of what Jane contributed—all done in the spirit and manner of Jesus Christ.

Thank you, Jane Parker, for your many years of selfless service and dedication!
