On Thursday, June 14th, the final beam was placed at the top of the third floor of the Tolleson Family Activity center. The milestone was met with shouts of excitement and congratulations from all of HPUMC’s Staff and partners of the Beyond Capital Campaign.

June marks the halfway point of construction, which officially began in August with a ceremonial groundbreaking. The new building features 65,000 square feet of space for HPUMC’s Special Needs Ministry, Family Ministry, and an underground parking garage. To get a sneak peek at what the building will look like instead when completed, take a virtual tour with Rev. Rasmussen!

The building is part of the $65 million Beyond Capital Campaign, in which Paul challenged the congregation to move beyond ourselves, beyond our limits, and beyond our walls.

Construction on the Tolleson Family Activity Center is expected to be finished in March 2019.
