Want to learn more about the Bible in 2018? HPUMC offers several classes designed to give you an in-depth look at the Scriptures. You can embark on a 12-week intensive study of the Old or New Testaments, or start with a six-week entry-level class on “How to Read the Bible.” Either way, we believe your love for God will be transformed through these classes.

It's A Great Big World: Travel with the cast to a remote Hawaiian island and the northernmost tip of Alaska where two teams, one a group of presidentially commissioned international climate scientists, the other a National Geographic Expedition team, face dire circumstances. Encountering the unexpected, each team must gather their courage and work together to choose what is right while aiming to avoid complete global disaster!
Jesters is a theater troupe made up of teens and adults with special needs. Their annual performance takes place each February in Wesley Hall at HPUMC’s Mockingbird Campus. We hope you’ll join us this year!

Sister Up at HPUMC’s 2018 Women’s Retreat!
This year HPUMC is excited to welcome New York Times best-selling author, Rachel Held Evans, as our keynote speaker for our annual women's retreat. If you're in need of inspiration, rest, or spiritual renewal, this weekend is for you. Our theme this year is Sister Up. We'll be focusing on the gift of sisterhood and working to strengthen our bonds with one another. After all, we are stronger together!
Follow the journey as Rev. Paul Rasmussen travels to Israel.
In March, Rev. Rasmussen and his family will journey on an eight-day trip through the Holy Land. The trip will take them through ancient cities of the Bible, from Nazareth to Megiddo, Galilee, Jerusalem, and Bethelem. Our video team will travel with Paul to capture the entire experience, and will send back daily updates and photos!

Even though we would probably all agree that we all need relationships, we also all agree that relationships are exceedingly difficult. We need relationships but, truthfully, we’re pretty bad at them. Marriages fall apart, friends become frenemies become enemies. This difficulty has always been the reality, but our generation seems to be uniquely challenged due to the technological advances of the past 20 years that are continuously changing how we relate to one another.
Starting in January, we'll explore some practical steps we can take to strengthen our most important relationships.
