On Sunday, April 7, HPUMC officially launched the CitySquare Café. The Café is part of HPUMC's partnership with Citysquare which is aimed at fighting poverty in Dallas through education, housing, and health. All proceeds from the Café will go back into the Hospitality Program. That means by buying a coffee or breakfast at the Café you are helping neighbors get jobs and support their families.

On Sunday, we shared a video featuring one of the Café workers who has thrived under the WorksPath program. Before starting out with CitySquare, Brandy and her four kids were sleeping in their car. Now, she says she has an apartment of her own and is working toward getting transportation. Watch her story to learn more about how the CitySquare Café is transforming lives in Dallas.
