Dear HPUMC,

I can't wait to be back in worship with all of you this weekend. I have had some wonderful time away, but I always miss our church! Thank you so much for allowing Ashley and me to have such quality time with our family throughout July.

This weekend, I'll be talking about confidence. It's amazing to me how gifted people are - after all, God designed us - yet how insecure we often feel. If we're designed by God in the image of God, how can we possibly be insecure? It makes no sense. Yet so many deal daily with chronic insecurity. The good news is we don't have to. The scriptures are well aware of of people haunted by a crisis of confidence, and they have some life changing insight that might just be exactly what you need to hear. How about inviting someone special to join you for worship. See you this weekend.
