“Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” In his famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus challenges us to rethink what leads to true life. Often, we view God’s love as transactional, believing we must earn His favor by making ourselves lovable. But what if the life we truly long for isn't found on that well-paved road? What if it’s found through the gate that is only as wide as our true selves, without all the extra layers of ego, selfishness, and pride? What if it’s found through the narrow path of God’s unconditional love for us?
This love isn't something we earn; it is freely given to us, just as we are. In this sermon, we'll explore how choosing the narrow path means stepping into a life defined by God’s love—a life full of purpose, meaning, and true fulfillment.
