ACOLYTES
What is an acolyte?
- A servant leader
- A person who carries the cross, representing Jesus Christ, into the Sanctuary at the beginning of each service
- A person who carries the bell banners, representing the presence of the Holy Spirit, into the Sanctuary at the beginning of each service
Who can be an acolyte?
- Fourth and fifth graders can serve as acolytes at the 9:30 am Sanctuary service.
- Sixth graders can serve as acolytes at the 11 am Sanctuary service.
When do we have acolytes?
- Beginning the Sunday after Labor Day in September, through Mother's Day
How can I become an acolyte?

- Reach out to Mallory Adams, Traditional Worship Coordinator, to let her know you're interested and to learn more.
- Attend an acolyte training session held on Sunday mornings from 10:30 to 11 am. Contact Mallory Adams to schedule a specific Sunday.
