Churchwide Serving Day: Young Adults

As part of HPUMC Churchwide Serving Day, our Young Adult Community will serve at the build site of Carpenters House #124. Come join us for fun, fellowship, and food, as you leave your house to go build a house! This is the first build day for house #124, so we will work on standing and bracing the walls. Bring your family, friends, or small group to serve together!

Register through Habitat's volunteer portal according to the instructions below.

Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity has a new volunteer registration system called Golden. Whether you are a NEW volunteer or a RETURNING volunteer, there are instructions below on how to register for our Carpenters for Christ house #124. HPUMC has our own private build site registration link, so please make sure you are signing up for HPUMC only.

NEW VOLUNTEERS

(If you volunteered with Habitat PRIOR TO July 1, 2020, you will need to create a new account)

Please follow the instructions to create a NEW account, submit your background check, and sign up for your shift to volunteer with HPUMC.

1. Please use our Volunteer Portal to create an account (enter your personal information only, then go to step 2 below).

2. Once your account has been created, go to the following URL to complete your registration and background check: Complete Registration and Background Check here.

3. AFTER you have received an email from Sterling Volunteers informing you that your background check has been completed, you can click the following HPUMC Registration link to sign up for the HPUMC build shift: Register for HPUMC Spring ’23 Build here (HPUMC HAS OUR OWN BUILD SITE REGISTRATION LINK, SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR HPUMC ONLY).

4. You should receive an email notification from Golden Volunteers upon successful registration.

RETURNING VOLUNTEERS

(You have volunteered with Habitat BETWEEN July 1, 2020, and January 28, 2023)

1. If you have not already, please claim your account by clicking the link from the email you received from Golden Volunteers on behalf of Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity (DAHFH) on Jan. 30, 2023.

2. After claiming your account, you will be redirected to a page to “Create Account.”

3. Once you have claimed and created your account, please sign up for your shift using the following HPUMC Registration link: Register for HPUMC Spring ’23 Build here (HPUMC HAS OUR OWN BUILD SITE REGISTRATION LINK, SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR HPUMC ONLY).

4. You should receive an email notification from Golden Volunteers upon successful registration.

Please note: all volunteers must be registered in the Dallas Area Habitat For Humanity's Volunteer Portal prior to volunteering, and volunteers 18+ will be prompted to complete a background check. For the safety of our volunteers, staff, and home buyers, volunteers 18+ who have not completed a background check will not be permitted on site.
