Wilkinson Center: Distribute Turkey Baskets

Volunteer to help distribute turkey baskets to families!

Wilkinson Center solicits donations from organizations and distributes over 500 turkey baskets to our clients. These baskets contain all of the fixings for a full Thanksgiving meal, along with either a frozen turkey or a butterball voucher that clients can redeem at a grocery store for a turkey, ham, or vegetarian entrée. Families that are experiencing food insecurity will come and pick up baskets, ensuring they will be able to have an amazing Thanksgiving holiday with their families.

Available shifts:

• Monday, November 25 (Shifts 10:30 am-12:30 pm, 1:30-4:30 pm, 4-6:30 pm)
• Tuesday, November 26 (Shifts: 10:30 am-12:30 pm, 3:30-7 pm)
• Wednesday, November 27 (8:30 am-12:30 pm)

Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older. Most volunteers will need to be able to carry 25 pounds repeatedly.

All volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes. Please do not bring extra people who are not signed up for the distribution.
