Tulsa Civil Rights Pilgrimage

  • Friday, February 3 – Saturday, February 4
  • All Day
  • Tulsa, OK
  • $285

Join us in Tulsa.

As we continue our journey to understand and love others, consider joining HPUMC’s Racial Justice Ministry on a trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for a closer look at the Greenwood District and the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre that tragically took place there. The story of the Tulsa Race Massacre demonstrates how misjudging those who are different from you can create a perfect storm with devastating results. The city of Tulsa still struggles to reconcile today. As deeply devoted followers of Jesus Christ, we are doing all we can to live in peace with others who are created by God, and it is crucial to learn from the mistakes of others to do so.
