The Study of Acts

  • Feb 25, 2026
  • 12:00pm – 1:00pm
  • Room 120 or Online

This will be a 25-week in-depth exploration of the Book of Acts, which covers the critical first 30 years in the history of our faith. We’ll cover the Ascension of Jesus, the birth of the church at Pentecost, the early years when our faith was a movement within Judaism, how the church spread beyond Jerusalem and beyond Jews, and how it expanded to the Gentiles. The second half of Acts narrates the ministry of Paul as he spread his understanding of the Gospel to the Gentiles and across the eastern Mediterranean. In Acts, we see the origins and foundations of our faith.

The class will also be livestreamed for those who are unable to attend. The link for the livestream will be sent to those who register. In addition, participants will receive a link to each week's video as well as the PowerPoint presented in class.
