Stumbling Over the Holy Spirit

This class will focus on reclaiming the presence of the Holy Spirit, which emanates only from God, and returning it to its proper place of authority as the third leg of the Trinity in the Christian church. You will learn about the movement of the Holy Spirit through history and how it inspired St. Benedict, St Francis Teresa of Avila, and, in our time, Thomas Merton and Richard Rohr. You will see how the Holy Spirit is still working in the church today.

The class will read "The Age of the Spirit" by Phyllis Tickle.

Tuesdays, September 21–November 30 | 10–11:30 am

Online

Cost: No charge, but you will need to purchase your own copy of “The Age of the Spirit” by Phyllis TIckle
