Stronger Together, Weaker Apart: "The Small and the Mighty"
-
Feb 4, 2025 -
12:00pm – 1:00pm -
Room 244/245 or on Zoom
Join us for a book study on “The Small and the Mighty” by Sharon McMahon, America’s favorite government teacher. She highlights some truly remarkable Americans, such as a young boy in a Japanese concentration camp, and a former slave searching for her daughter. McMahon’s thorough investigation into these stories paints a new, rich picture of some of history’s unsung heroes who, like many today, fought for a more just and free world.
While this book will be helpful to everyone, it will make for an especially meaningful experience for those going on our Memphis Pilgrimage from February 7 to 8, 2025. To learn more about the trip, click here.
This class is available both in person and online.
