SMU students are invited to join us for HPUMC’s Sunday morning worship services on August 23. Students should gather at the tent near the boulevard before and after the 11 am services to connect with other students, meet our Director of College Ministry, Rev. Billy Rainey, and learn more about getting involved in Wesley House this school year.
Highland Park United Methodist Church’s history is forever linked with Southern Methodist University. The first services of University Church, the forerunner of HPUMC, were held in February 1916 on the SMU campus. Now, over 100 years later, we are still connected.
