Restore Her Benefit Luncheon: Women Helping Women

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, HPUMC and United Methodist Women are collaborating in support of Restoration Ministry, a program offered by HPUMC Pastoral Care to promote recovery, prevent abuse, and intervene in areas of domestic abuse and sexual assault. The benefit luncheon's sponsorship and honoraria opportunities will provide funding to lift up this vital program.

Please join us at this year's luncheon for a training workshop presented by Mimi Sterling and Vanessa Baum, The Family Place CEO and Director of Prevention Education, respectively. Mimi and Vanessa will teach attendees how to identify different types of abuse, actions to take when you know about an abusive relationship, skills to model positive communication for our youth, and how to continue to be a voice against violence in our community.
