Caregiver Support Group: Caring for Others While Caring for Yourself

  • Mar 9, 2026
  • 1:30pm – 3:30pm
  • Room 222

Caring for a loved one is a profound expression of love, but it can also be one of life's most challenging and isolating experiences. Whether you are caring for a spouse, parent, child, or close friend dealing with a chronic illness, disability, or the challenges of aging, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and alone.

Our caregiver support group, Caring for Others While Caring for Yourself, offers a welcoming, confidential, and empathetic environment where you can share your experiences, find practical resources, and receive the emotional and spiritual encouragement you need to sustain yourself while caring for others.

This group is for anyone who is currently providing regular, unpaid care for a family member or close friend. For more information or just to talk confidentially before attending, please contact Petrella Booker at bookerp@hpumc.org
