Having Nothing, Possessing Everything

  • Wesley Hall Studio/Family Room

Led by: Rev. Tripp Gulledge

In this four-week study, we will discuss the book, "Having Nothing, Possessing Everything," by Rev. Mike Mather. Through stories and personal reflection, Rev. Mather makes the case that the church ought to serve communities and meet their needs by expecting to find abundance in their lives and not scarcity. The book contains a selection of deeply moving stories from Rev. Mather’s ministry which led him to advocate for this important abundance mindset in the Christian mission. Throughout this study, we will survey the collection of stories and reflect on the biblical, theological, and practical convictions that can help us serve others with dignity as the church. I hope you will join us—expect to be blessed by what you will find.

There is no charge for the class, but you will need to purchase your own copy of "Having Nothing, Possessing Everything", by Rev. Mike Mather.

This class meets weekly on Tuesdays, March 14 - April 4, 2023.
