Easter at HPUMC: A Living Hope - Sunday

Sanctuary and Cornerstone
Following his crucifixion, Jesus was placed in a tomb, but it could not hold him. The stone at the entrance was rolled away, and all that was left in the grave were things of this world—the linens he was buried in. Jesus is still rolling away stones in our lives. The tomb is empty; He lives. On Easter Sunday, we honor that Jesus was, and is, risen. He is our ever-present, living hope, for life abundant and life beyond the grave, from now to forever. Let us celebrate this joyous occasion together.
