It’s hard to see underwater. Things are blurred and distorted, and you can’t quite get a clear look at things. Now, imagine you come up for air and open your eyes. That’s what we want you to see this September. Jesus and his earliest followers saw things much differently than the rest of first-century Israel and Rome. He wanted others to see as he saw, then and now. As we take a closer look at the five ways Jesus sees the world, things that were distorted will become much clearer. Join us, and ask God to give you eyes to see.

After all, you didn’t do much for that money, and didn’t come with terms and conditions, so why not spend it as you wish? Unlike lottery winnings, you may have worked hard for the money you have, but our faith teaches us that the money still doesn’t belong to us—it belongs to God. We’re just stewards. Our world is shaped through stories. Stories shape how we make sense of the world, our views on love, hate, relationships, and everything in between. They inspire us. They can bring us together. Or in the wrong hands, tear us apart. Stories are powerful. It should come as no surprise then, that when God wanted to communicate the greatest truth in human history, God gave us the greatest story ever told.‎
