We ask that our servers commit to one Sunday a month, though we have some that serve with us more often.
The Walk is a Sunday School program for all ages of those with special needs. We offer four classrooms to accommodate the unique learning styles and developmental stages of those seeking a deeper relationship with Christ. In these 9:30 classes, we will not only grow together in our faith but create new friendships and a sense of community.
Each Sunday we worship together through music, pray together and enjoy a lesson and time for fellowship. Our participants will also be involved in Service Sundays where you will find us serving throughout HPUMC.

No! HPUMC staff writes the curriculum and prepares all of the lessons and activities ahead of time.
Our servers are the heart of our program! Our servers help our class members understand the lessons at their own level and participate in the activities. They also help participants develop friendships among each other. Most of all, our servers form a meaningful relationship with our participants. When something exciting happens in the life of our class members they can’t wait to walk in the door and share the news with our teachers!
