Clayton Small

Junior High Part-time Staff

Email:  smallc@hpumc.org

Clayton was born and raised in Kansas City,  Missouri.  He graduated from High School in 2008 and moved to Dallas to attend Dallas Baptist University.  During the fall of his freshman year he came to HPUMC and began working with the Junior High Ministry.  Clayton will be seen running around church wearing anything from a suit to a pair of spandex shorts (odd we know but we still love him!)  Clayton shows his love for Christ everyday and his eagerness to get in the Word is awesome!

Who were some of your influences / inspirations?  Phil, Stephen and Drew....I hope to be a mixture of them someday!

Whats an interesting fact about you?  I do not have a big toe on my left foot

Describe your perfect day....waking up and heading to breakfast with friends, then spending time hanging out.  I love to worship and playing games outside, so both would have to be included.  Mainly I would like to be with people for the day . But at the end of the day having a little time to sit and reflect on my day and thank God for an awesome day would be a great end to the perfect day!

My all time favorite movie is...Top Gun

My favorite food is...anything but dorm food

My favorite sport is...dodge ball

My favorite quote is..."Courage is the first of human qualities because it is the quality which guarantees all others." -Winston Churchill

Whats on your iPod....mostly gangsta rap!

Whats one of the most important lessons you learned in life?  Make sure you wear shorts over the spandex on mission trips!

My favorite scripture is...Romans 10: 9-10...That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that Gode raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
