Mission
To offer teens a free 24-hour telephone help line, staffed by trained volunteers who can respond to the concerns of teens in the midst of a crisis or conflict in a confidential, nonjudgmental manner.

Anger and Anger Management Self-Injury

Eating Disorders Smoking
Leadership Suicide
Peer Pressure Violence
Pregnancy
-Information for parents of teens including:
Communication Suicide and Depression
Discipline Eating Disorders
ADHD and other Disorders Violence
Drug & Alcohol Abuse Blended Families / Divorce
Anger Internet Safety
Stress and Anxiety
-Teen Board - made up of high school students from throughout the Dallas area, teens work together to reach out to their peers through community projects and events
-Gatekeeper Training - an educational outreach program that strives to establish a network of community individuals who are trained to recognize and respond to teens showing signs of crisis
Volunteer Opportunities
All of CONTACT's 24-hour help lines are sponsored by trained, adult volunteers.
Volunteers go through a comprehensive, informative and fun training class before answering the phones.
Volunteers must be at least 21 years old.
