Sanctuary

The traditional, neo-gothic setting of Highland Park UMC's main sanctuary is especially graced by the 1974/113-rank Austin pipe organ. This versatile instrument is spread over five divisions, including a gallery organ in the rear balcony.This organ replaced the 1954/44 rank Aeolian-Skinner (sold to Bethany UMC in Houston).

Cox Organ Specifications

Cox Chapel

The 1973/33 rank Aeolian-Skinner/Robert Sipe tracker (in collaboration with Aug. Laukhuff Co., Germany) organ in Cox Chapel is an instrument of peculiar historical interest. This organ was one of the last installations by the Aeolian-Skinner Organ Company. It was finished by Dallas organbuilder Robert Sipe. The organ is used on a regular basis for weddings, funerals, and special services.
