drew_munger.gifI am so excited to join the team at Munger Place.  God is doing awesome work and I am so grateful to be a part of Munger's future.  I feel that God will use the gifts and talents He has given me to bring the news of Jesus to the community as we realize His vision this new place of worship.

I grew up in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri.  At age 16, while working with junior high youth at my church, I felt that God was calling me to a life in ministry.  I went to Midland Lutheran College, in Fremont, Nebraska, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Youth and Family Ministry.  I had also become an EMT during college which helped me to understand that God was using me to reach all people, both inside and outside the church. I went to Creighton University School of Nursing to further my education.  Nurses have a holistic approach which was a perfect fit to allow me to work in ministry as a nurse and in a church.  Upon completion of nursing school, I accepted positions at a church in Nebraska as a Youth Minister and at a hospital in the Medical / Trauma Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room.  However, I felt a pull to be near my transplanted Texan family, so I decided to continue my church and nursing careers here.  drew_flying.pngBeing in Texas has been great!  I have been able to continue in ministry and also became a Flight Nurse with a helicopter ambulance service.  The best thing about Texas is my love, Kim!  I never imagined God would give me someone so wonderful and loving with whom to share life.  Kim is my daily reminder of how faithful God is when we listen and trust in Him!  We started our family on August 7, 2010, and, although I never imagined it would be possible,  life gets better and better each day with her!   When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  I am usually laughing and enjoying life! My heart and my life belong to the Lord, and knowing that for His purposes He has brought me to Munger Place Church, I look forward with eager anticipation to all that God has in store!
