Regular library hours are Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-noon, 1:00-3:00 p.m.; and Sunday mornings, 8:00 a.m.-12:15 p.m. The library is located on the second floor of the main building, near the main entrance at the northeast corner of the church.

The HPUMC library contains more than 17,000 volumes, including Children and Junior books, Children’s Christian videos, a wide variety of Adult books, large print books, Bibles and Commentaries and sermon audiocassettes and CDs from Sunday Sanctuary, Cox and Cornerstone services.

The library offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. Working with the Librarian is a loyal group of volunteers who perform many necessary duties to maintain a library with an outstanding reputation.  Funding to purchase new books for the library is acquired through special gifts, honorariums and memorials. This is a wonderful and meaningful way to honor someone special. The gifts of many people through the years have given pleasure and provided learning tools to the patrons of the library.

If a book you wish to read is checked out, please fill out a reserve form or call Ann Williams at 214.523.2273, and we will call you as soon as it is returned.
