Connect & Serve is a ministry that encourages followers of Christ to deepen their involvement in the church and to share their hearts, time and talents with those in need.

Immediate Volunteer Needs

Serving with an open heart is compassion in action. Whether you have one hour a month, or several every week, there is a need to fill. Here are just some of the opportunities available:

Attend NextStep - HPUMC's two day orientation class
HPUMC offers an orientation class for all new members, visitors and long-time members who would like to learn about HPUMC’s rich history and its many ministries and serving opportunities.

The winter class is Sunday, December 7th and Sunday, December 14th, 10:45 am - 12:15 pm, in room 258.

Take the Methodist Spiritual Gifts Assessment
The Spiritual Gifts Assessment will help you to identify your God-given gifts for living faithfully as a Christian disciple and to find meaningful ways to use your gifts in connection with others through the community of faith. The process helps you understand the nature of spiritual gifts and ways to enhance the effectiveness of your gifts by linking together with others.
