Christian Education

Highland Park United Methodist Church offers many opportunities for Christian education through Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and the Academy of Christian & Life Enrichment Studies.

Within The Academy of Christian & Life Enrichment Studies sessions you will find two areas of study:

Focus Classes
Focus Classes encompass six courses, totaling approximately five years of in-depth Spiritual and Bible Education:

• Disciple Bible Study I, II, III, IV
• Christian Believer
• Jesus in the Gospels
• Alpha
• Bible Study 101
• The Methodism Class

Short-term Studies
Short-term studies involves a variety of study areas:

• Bible Study
• Faith Enrichment
• Personal Growth
• Parenting and Relationship
• Music and the Arts
• Fellowship
• Seasonal studies

These classes may teach specific lessons of the Bible, expand your knowledge of different communities of faith and improve your individual wellness.

The Faculty of The Academy of Christian & Life Enrichment Studies is a diverse group of Laity membership from our church, professionals in their field, clergy and seminary professors who, through their knowledge and the depth of their faith, will help lead you closer to the love and Word of God.  It is the vision of te Academy of Christian & Life Enrichment Studies to bring you together with others in small groups where you are encouraged to develop your understanding of the faith through a well-rounded Christian education, to share experiences and to enjoy fellowship with other Christians.

Sunday School classes are offered for adults, youth, children and singles.
