Frequently Asked Questions  

 Where do we go if we are visitors?
The Children's Ministry Information Center is located on the first floor right outside Room 118 in the children's wing of the Wallace Building.  The church Welcome Center is located in the main hallway of the Wallace Building directly across from Wesley Hall.

What about Sunday School?
Sunday school for children ages 2 years old-5th grade takes place from 9:30-10:30 am and from 11:00 am-12:00 pm.  We have about 18-25 students per room with 3 to 6 teachers who commit to teach from August-August.  We have Age Level Coordinators fo each age level to help with communication and organization.  Lessons are biblically based with fun and inspiring music, skits, games and puppet shows. 

What about the Nursery?
The Nursery receives children from ages birth-5th grade from 8:30 am-9:30 am.  It receives children from ages birth-2 years old from 8:30am-12:00 pm.  No reservations are necessary, but you will be asked to fill out an enrollment form on your first Sunday using the Nursery.  The Nursery is staffed by paid caregivers and supported by the Nursery/KidCare Coordinator on staff at the church as well as a group of wonderful volunteers.

How do we enroll our children in Sunday School?
You can either fill out an enrollment card on Sunday mornings that can be found in your child's classroom or at the Children's Ministry Information Center or click here to print out an enrollment card and mail it in or return it on a Sunday morning.

Is there Sunday School at 11:00 am for children?
Yes!  The 11:00 Sunday School hour offers a completely different curriculum than the 9:30 hour. 

Which worship service is best for children?
There are children's worship packets in the Sanctuary and Cornerstone services.  Cornerstone offers a children's message on the 4th Sunday of each month.

What are the other activities for children?
Vacation Bible School, Retreats for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders, Exciting summer programming, LINK mid-week programming for 5th and 6th graders, GAP Girls' Bible Study for 3rd and 4th grade girls, Fall Family Picnic, Advent Festival, Ash Wednesday Pancake Supper, NewSong Children's Choirs

This is a big church.  How do we get involved?
