RENEWING THE PAST ….EMBRACING THE FUTURE:
SANCTUARY RESTORATION BEGINS IN 2008

See Restoration RenderingsOur beautiful sanctuary was built in 1926 as a witness for Christ and with a vision for the growth of the church.  In 2009, a new organ will be installed in the sanctuary. The preparation for this new instrument allows us the opportunity to address critical repairs, improve the acoustics of the sanctuary and accomplish asbestos abatement. All of this helps us renew the work of the church founders and embrace the future of our church.

Says Senior Minister Rev. Mark Craig, “While at this time we find it necessary to spend money within our own walls, we are also at work with outreach in our city and the world through the support of projects including St. Paul United Methodist Church and the Costa Rica orphanage.”

Worship is the central focus of our congregation.  Our worship spaces provide for not only our Sunday morning worship, but also memorial services, funerals and weddings.   A brochure is available at right and around the church with complete information about the organ and sanctuary restoration as well as a commitment card for your financial support of this project.  All ages of our congregation are invited to participate in making a financial contribution toward the organ and/or the restoration work.  At the end of 2009, when we dedicate the new organ and celebrate the restoration completion, we hope to have every family of our church listed as a contributor to these projects.  Your gifts may be made in honor of or in memory of family and/or friends.
